The Smoke Alarm Guys was founded by Ann and Peter Fell following the tragic 2011 house fire in Logan, where 11 lives were lost after a smoke alarm failed due to a flat battery.
The event exposed a confronting truth: smoke alarms only save lives when they are installed correctly, maintained properly and working when they are needed most.
Determined to help prevent tragedies like this from happening again, Ann and Peter established The Smoke Alarm Guys with a clear mission – to ensure more Queensland homes are protected by reliable, professionally installed smoke alarms.
What began as a small, purpose-driven business has grown into one of Queensland’s most trusted smoke alarm specialists. Today, The Smoke Alarm Guys have helped protect more than 30,000 homes, working with homeowners, property investors and real estate professionals across Queensland.
